Injured Sparrow at 116 Tremont St, Boston

Found her on the actual road, between driving and parking lanes. Appeared to have am injured left wing, and perhasps one or both feet. No luck with animal agencies and organizations on the day (Sunday), so the plan was to keep her for the night, then take her to Deanna Gualtieri, the local Animal Control Officer.

Unfortunately, she passed away in her sleep, which is how I found her the next morning (Monday). Sometimes, believing one has done one's best is the only solace.
