MMC2025 :: Day 19 :: Top of the South

Mono Month Challenge 2025

Picton is the gateway to the south or a way to go north. It is at the top of the South Island and the ferry heading out on my main Blip is heading for Wellington on the North Island. Wellington happens to be 40 miles south of Picton, go figure... 

Today we travelled the Queen Charlotte Drive to Havelock for lunch. It's such a beautiful drive we took it back again. I just love the twists and turns not to mention the views. We will be taking it again when we head over to Havelock to stay so I'll add some of the views when we do. 

Postcard: I've been wanting to do a collage of the interesting post boxes found here in NZ. Along the Queen Charlotte Drive are many but not easy to stop to take images. Your postcard is a selection I was able to get today.
