Wide Wednesday Weather

It's midsummer here and the weather has been what we should probably call "normal" as opposed to "unprecedented" or "extreme". In fact the summers have been like this since the drought then rains of 2019-2020.
I've photographed these trees in spring and autumn when they look particularly pretty but they are nice in summer too.
Meanwhile we have been getting pictures from Julia in Montreal where it is -15C, cars are buried and the snow on her terrace is higher than she is. Hard to imagine.
It's been a social sort of day. We went to Katoomba for morning tea with Robb and then Trisharooni called in this afternoon.
