Starling

We don't get starlings in the garden everyday, but when we do it's a right old commotion!  They come in a group of about 8 or 10 and then hoover up any food left on the ground.  They act like a combination of a small horde of over sized locusts and a troup of circus clowns, bumping into each other, making one another stumble, stealing mealworms from between another bird's legs when it's not looking, and generally having a right old time of it.
However, with their subtly beautiful colours and clown like character, I'm always glad to see them and I do enjoy watching their antics.
