Walking Downtown
Dry and warmer than home today in Manzanita. Di and Barb sporting yellow rubber boots as they head for town.
On my long, lone beach walk this morning, I realized I was only sort of alone: there were several women all walking the same direction, all spaced about 100’ apart, all alone and hopefully all enjoying the solitude as much as I was. A lone Bald Eagle flew over us all, flying the other direction.
Later: lunch, nap, knitting, reading, shopping, dining - and best of all laughing. How fun it is to laugh.
(I’ll leave out the part about my struggles with Keurig. Grr.)
Extras: tall dune grass, and the Cloud & Leaf Bookstore in its new location with leather chairs and so much light.
