Another (expensive) roof

Walking back from locking up the church this afternoon and this chap on the ridge caught my eye.  When they started, a few weeks ago, I reckoned they'd be finished within 2 weeks, but they told me that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for this (not very large) roof.

It looks very good after the reed is trimmed, but what a pricey do – about £30k for a complete roof, I understand.

And last night we saw a difficult film: The Opponent, about an Iranian family applying for asylum in Sweden.  Well worth watching.
