Wi-Fi on Wednesday
I got quite a few domestic jobs done before my sister came over for lunch, and we had a good catch-up with everything. Back at home I asked for her thoughts on where to have the fitted wardrobes built in the main bedroom, and I’m now thinking of driving over to the local branch of Wren tomorrow afternoon to have a look at the ranges they’re offering for bedrooms (recommended by my hairdresser as good value from her personal experience of them - I know she and her husband are quite exacting in their requirements). My sister and I also manoeuvred a corner cupboard away from the wall with the phone socket ready for the EE/BT guide to come and set up my new Wi-Fi kit. They were changing me over from a land-line to a digital home phone system anyway, and while things were being altered I decided to merge my broadband and mobile contracts. I’m saving quite a bit of money by doing this, so that’s a bonus. Jack, the guide, arrived and soon got everything set up and tested to make sure it’s all working okay at the guaranteed speeds. Happy to report that home phone and broadband are fine and mobile is logged onto the new Wi-Fi with no issues. After Jack had gone, I concealed all the wires (I’m fussy about having cables out of sight wherever possible), pushed back the cupboard and sofa, and now the house is all back to normal. Aaaaand relax :-)
