“You can’t see me!”

Heron near the Kelpies thinking it is well camouflaged!
We almost walked right past this heron as it was very close to the footpath.  I suppose they must be quite used to us walkers by now.
Another very cold feeling day with a few chilly showers but apparently the next few days are to be a lot milder, even into double figures but wet and windy. We just can’t win!
