Litherland caching trip

It could have been a disastrous trip but we salvaged what we could. The weather forecast was good and it was supposed to be dry and warmer. It was raining as I got closer to Litherland and it was sleety. Parked up and met my friends as arranged. It was raining harder and the wind was both stiff and bitter. I think we were all wondering if we should sit in our cars with a brew then go home!
Anyway, we set off to the first cache which was close to where we parked. Searched for some time and couldn't find it! Off to the next two which we found but by then we were wet and very cold so we drove to Tesco and adjourned to the cafe there to warm up and rethink our day.
Once we set off again it was to a reduced geocaching trail (we'll go back for the rest sometime).
We grabbed a very dodgy cache near the Tesco car wash (I was hoping nobody rang bomb disposal to say people were acting suspiciously round the back of the car wash) then had a walk along the canal for another 2 caches, both of which we found. We then drove nearer to a cache by a house with another in walking distance, neither of which we found and suspect neither was there.
Brew from flasks then off home.
We had a walk, that's the main thing and it got us out.
I took a few photos but this seagull on Tesco car park won the draw for which to blip.
