It has been quite a wintry day and I was thankful for the shelter provided by the trees as Bertie and I walked at Quinish. My blip shows The Narrows where the wind and the tide were battling it out to produce the white topped waves. Twice a day, more or less, the tide flows into Loch Cuin through The Narrows and at its fastest flow it looks like a river.
Later in the day there was a gathering of a good number of folk at our local church to celebrate the life of a ninety year old lady who had died recently. Some lovely words were spoken and there was good singing from the congregation as well as a beautiful soloist.
