Surprising

The last big storm blew over several large trees in The Hermitage. This particular tree fell across one of my regular paths. Park workers sawed out the middle section so that nobody had to clamber over it. It’s been like this for a few weeks but today I noticed just how red the wood is compared to the exterior.
Dog walk followed by a visit from another solar installer. Reaching decision time.
