Opening

D had to go to the dentist, I went to the allotment. There were a few birds about - a variety of tits, sparrows, and the ever charming bumbarrels. Didn't get a decent photo though. The fat bastards have completely decimated what remained of the brassicas - there was netting over them, but they seem to have sat on the netting and squashed it down. They've even gone for the Asturian tree cabbage, which they had previously ignored.

Noticed this blossom just starting to open on the little tree opposite the bus stop - although it's still pretty cold.
