Coloured cottons

Top Sewing cotton and bottom embroidery silks (don't use the silks  as much as I used to,  hands are not too good these days holding needles, I find difficult, it's bad enough tacking things.) I got the pillow slips finished, I am quite pleased with them, they fit fine, next PJ bottoms then a bolster case for Paula's bolster, she has one but when it's washed she has to wait till it dry's to put it back on so I am going to make her another.

Cold again today but a bit milder tonight thank goodness.

Got my Water and Sewerage bill for this next period. Last year it was £728.60  this year it has gone up  to £959.05  that is £230.45 more, so another £23.00 a month to find from somewhere and it won';t stop there the Council Tax has to come next and I hate to think what that will be. The TV licence is also going up too, there won't be anything left by the time we pay all the extra's.
I wonder what the house insurance will go up to this year.

Ah well, tighten the belt as we used to say.
