Weald open air museum

After breakfast and a telephone call with a planner, we drove to the Weald Open Air Museum, where we spent a couple of hours looking at the old rural buildings, the horses ploughing the fields, and thinking that we must look into the history of our own house, which has some parts older than some of the buildings in the museum.
We then drove to Lewes, did some shopping, and headed home. We arrived at the same time as J, L and Amber. We spent some time with them and I cooked us a meal, but in the middle of all of that we had a visit from my Mum’s main carer E who is going to do some cat sitting for us on my birthday weekend. She is in the process of moving to the Brighton area, but is still working over this way so is ok to deal with the cats for now.
It was good to catch up with her news.
