Tall Mulla Mulla
Ptilotus exaltatus - Western Australian North West
I decided to take myself for a walk through Kings Park Botanic Garden this morning armed with the good old reliable SonyRX10IV. It was a glorious morning and there was already a very welcome cool breeze coming through from the ocean. Yesterday was another very, VERY hot day in Perth. I just loved the area of Desert Plants and in particular the Tall Mulla Mulla contrasted with the Parakeelya - Calandrinia polyandry found in the Western Australian Deserts. Now I've also added another version and honestly, it's been a toss up as to which image I should post as the main one. I'd love to know your preference if you get a chance to look at the other version. I've also added an extra of the Sturt Desert Pea, always a showstopper. Mauzee and I have seen all of these plants growing up north and they are jaw droopingly beautiful when you see them in the wild.
It was a quiet day today in the Park, quite unusual and I almost had the entire area to myself.
Blip Central Post
Once again I'm posting the link from Blip Central re: the 9 year birthday of the community purchasing the site. I would love you to share it on your own post if you feel so inclined. The more blippers who are financial members, the healthier our situation will be.
