Gifts

Susan and her beautiful girls brought these lovely flowers round (I think from her garden, unless she nicked them from someone else's) and took Peter away for the day. They picked strawberries and had a little adventure while we took a walk along the coast. They arrived back bearing an invitation to an adopt-a-puffin party, with a terrific picture of a puffin on it.

Next to the vase is the last of many hundreds of presents from my sister. She bought these plates and matching paper napkins in Paris. I don't know if I'll ever be able to use the napkins.
