Maryport.

Today a visit to Maryport.  A complete change to the morning spent at the surgery.  At least it was with a doctor, so a bit of fresh sea air was appropriate.  Wild waves and wind with a big sky.  This photo was taken from the prom showing those waves crashing on the stonework.  There were people around, some getting wet as a wave crashed over.  The water does look 'dirty,' but this because the water is stirring up sand.
