It was a perfect
morning for plein air - sun, blue
sky and good comrades

I was up at 7 and I sat with my coffee and my laptop until 9 when I needed to leave for plein air. We were scheduled to meet at Luz's Cacti Ranch on 7E. It was such a popular location when we were last here, that we wanted a repeat. 

We were only 5 in number today. Many members are very busy getting ready for ArtTrails next weekend. They want to have their art pieces ready and their studios ship-shape when the community comes by. 

I sat with my box of Stabilo crayons and my paint book. I hadn't tried these for plein air before. They are limited in colours but fun to play with my waterbrush.  I stayed until near noon enjoying my chats with P and whoever came by me. 

I'm home and will remain so. I will have a quiet afternoon.
