There's now enough regrown tissue at the edges of the original wound to make the scabby bit in the middle small enough to not be stretched open each time I bend it too far. The biggest relief is that I can now wash up normally again, without having to just put things in the rubbish dishwasher or gingerly hold them between index and thumb at the edge of the bowl whilst wafting the dishcloth at them with my left hand.
