No idea…

.. why this was placed in the Chinese Quarter, Gay Quarter, in the square outside the Hippodrome.
The words are so apt
I found myself in front of this after getting lost in the back streets in this area.
Talking on the phone whilst walking obviously didn’t help my navigational skills!
I’d gone to find a fabric warehouse which had been recommended to me only to find out that’s its future is in trouble as Birmingham Council have repossessed the land, and a lot of the surrounding area!
The most historical part of Birmingham is being decimated by a broken council!
