Yin
Mr P and I set off for Dundee after a leisurely breakfast with son no 2 and his partner.
We’re cat and hen sitting in a cottage in the middle of the countryside about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Dundee. It was windy and chucking it down when we arrived and the cottage is old and draughty but thankfully there’s a powerful boiler, a woodburner, an open fire and an endless supply of logs! I’m really enjoying having a cat to look after again and Yin is very snuggly. Much less snuggly are the two chickens we’re also looking after. The garden is huge and it took us ages to find them and then they disappeared again! To my relief they turned up in their Omlet chicken coop just before the door of the coop automatically closed at dusk. We’re hoping for fresh eggs in the morning.
