On the Thames Southbank

I went into town with my daughter to meet up with my niece and her family. They were booked on the London Eye with one daughter so we mooched about until they were free. Then we went by tube to Stratford to the Westfield Shopping Centre to catch up with their other daughter and her friend to have supper. We ended up in a Greek Restaurant which was nice. We had a lovely time and it was good to catch up with them all. They went back to Colchester by train and we caught the Elizabeth Line back to Paddington.
It rained all day and despite the higher temperature it was half that because of the cold wind. Miserable weather.
