Hospital Day 3: Peek-a-Boo!

Aaargghhh! Yeah, hey are my little toes peeking out of those pressure stockings! LOL

Today, I experienced a massive pain on my lower tummy. Asked between a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most painful, I honestly said it was 13! I was in tears, moaning and trying to find solace in every possible position. But alas, it wasn't successful. Oh did I mention being sick a lot as well?! They then gave me subcutaneous Morphine to ease pain off and transferred me to a separate cubicle. My previous consultants and support workers came round, and later was visited by my consultant saying: Hey, shall we wait for CT scan results?! Oh well. I am a doctor and I do know how these things can be out of your control really. Anyway, I noticed I was being bombarded with Saline IV Fluids which I don't really need and noticed I was swelling A LOT!!! so I asked the doctor to stop it, she said no. I waited a bit, at my own expense, and swelled some more. So compromise, decrease the amount! So there!
