A new plant
I don’t see hellebore in the stores often. I found one last year at Trader Joe’s, a beautiful wine colored flower that drooped down like a bell. I kept it in a pot by the front door. Then as it got warmer I put it on the back deck in a shady spot because I read that it doesn’t like a lot of sun. There is some new growth popping through the soil, but it hasn’t gotten bigger since I saw it a couple of weeks ago.
Yesterday I found some in a supermarket. They hadn’t been watered and most of the didn’t look too good. I picked one that I thought may be revivable if it was watered. 24 hours later it has perked up. Now my question is, is it better to plant these in the ground?
