A Nicer Bird

Whilst I have an intense dislike of the white sulphur crested cockatoo, I love the black ones. They often get around in pairs and can be a harbinger of rain.
I saw two today. Unfortunately I didn't have the long lens but this is as good a shot as have managed of one so far.

We made a brief trip to the farm to catch up with my brother in law who is staying for a few days.
Tonight Helen and family are here before going to the valley with some friends tomorrow for the night.
