We are making a new World
Not quite, but there's certainly a battlefield vibe going on along the A47 near Easton as thousands of trees have been chopped down ahead of the dualling of the stretch towards Dereham. This has opened up the view, and devastated biodiversity in the area. Headed that way to pick up my daughter to take her to Stansted Airport for a flight to Krakow - as part of her trip she's heading for Auschwitz in the 80th year since the end of World War II. Dropped her off - £7 for 3 minutes - then drove home and cooked a Sunday roast, and being half term next week it was a nice relaxed Sunday night with Countryfile, Pottery and Hunted.
And the title is a reference to Paul Nash's art of course.
