Lesser Celandine

Ranunculus ficaria

Another rather grim wet day, though perhaps not quite so cold.  However, although 'they' say the weather's going to get better from now on, the forecast seems to disagree.  How boring.

So I didn't go out today, except just into the Close where I'd already noticed the celandines were starting to show themselves.  There are also some in my garden, but I didn't fancy crawling under wet bushes to access them!

There's an extra of second one, just beginning to open, which I quite liked.

I'm so sorry about turning my comments off again last night. I suppose I haven't quite thrown off this bug, but the comments are back on again now.
