Luminance on Lusty Glaze
Full of adventure we set off early to try and get some massive wave shots at Porthleven. The winds overnight were tremendously strong and were still forecasted to be in the 60mph range as we left.
By the time we arrived it was horizontal rain and impossibly opaque skies, and the opportunities for photography were almost nil. The opportunities for pockets full of seawater and soggy jeans were, on the other hand, very good.
After copious tea and radiators, we headed for Newquay and the Lusty Glaze Cafe. This cafe lies within a privately owned bay and as we had lunch we watched the seas subside and the sky begin to brighten.
This, then, is the calm after the storm, with a little artful slider work.
