Smashley and I went out tonight for a few drinks. Both of us have people in our lives who are unwell or having treatment and it was nice to decompress. With beer.

Smashley is a mountain rescue volunteer and said that one of their recent calls was to a group of guys who’d has a boozy night up one of the mountains and had decided to stay out overnight in hammocks. Except one of them was so hammered that he fell out and broke his leg!

This is why drinking should be done in the safety of the pub. Without a hammock in sight.
