Crocus and friend

A lo9t warmer today but very windy. Mid morning the sun was out so we decided to go for a walk and search out a blip. We headed down towards the South Common area of the city enjoying a lovely walk to get some exercise. We spotted these lovely Crocuses  at the side of the road so grabbed a couple of shots when Julie spotted a little fly on one it then obliged and landed on the bunch I had photographed so another shot had to be taken .
Om the way back home it was rather warm despite the wind so I ended up taking my coat off. After a snack for lunch I went to visit my Mum. Spiting with rain when I went out in the car meant  we had gone for the walk at the right time.
Back home now and rugby League on the TV this evening as Wigan are playing at Hull FC a fixture we have been to on the last couple of occasions but will have to make do with watching on TV tonight .
