Leach Pottery

After it rained all night, the forecast said it would brighten to sunny periods today, so we went to St Ives.  Sadly the forecast was wrong and we got quite wet, but St Ives is always interesting.

We revisited the Leach Pottery which has so many talented potters.  This is a glimpse inside one of Bernard Leach's old kilns.  The Pottery has received a grant to build a Learning and Production Centre to greatly increase the number and range of workshops and learning activities they can offer.  I have always wanted to have a go at pottery and this could be my chance!

After strolling round the shops and watching the surfers on Porthmeor Beach, we went to our favourite restaurant for lunch, Porthminster Beach Café,
