Gateway

This was taken at Acorn Bank, near Penrith, last weekend.  I had intended to have a walk to Tewet Tarn and take more photos of Blencathra from that vantage point. A Blip friend reminded me of this tarn, one I hadn't visited for some time. The wild,wet and windy weather from yesterday continued so I decided to stay at home.
Jane was able to continue visiting this house even though MND was getting worse.  The National Trust  bought a 'Tramper,' a sturdy mobility scooter, which she was able to drive in the early days.  I have a photo of Jane negotiating this gate.
