….to Eskbank and a session clearing Aunty Ks flat with mum and Nancy. Mum’s done a power of work shifting ‘stuff’ to charity shops and receptive friends and family. Lead crystal is very much out of favour these days.

Later we headed into the big city and met Owen coming off-shift from the vet. He smelt strongly of aftershave, which is to disguise the smell of wet dog, apparently.

In other news, I completed the easy crossword without cheating this morning.
