Surface of the Sun

Sunflower that is, it even has an alien inhabitant. I travelled from the NW to the NE and back today, it absolutely tanked down all the way! So this is the closest to the Sun I could manage. This Sunflower, and several others around it, have all grown from seed discarded from the feeders by the birds. The ones we planted deliberately are all pathetic compared to these!
