Shallots

A balmy morning required a lighter coat.  Quick market shop then back home.  

I had limited time to walk the hound but I kept bumping into friends who wanted to chat.  I needed a quick walk, lunch then be ready for another removal company at 1.30 to give us an estimate.  Time was getting tight at 12.15.   I curtailed a longer walk as a result.

The removal company rep arrived about 1.40.  He was very pleasant.  Something about the first company inspired me more but they were more expensive.  I'm too tired to even look at the paperwork and compare tonight.

The market shallots caught my attention this morning.  I quite like the mono version in the extra.

Second long dog walk in the afternoon.  The hound was flagging on the way home.  However after 10 minutes' rest he's bouncing back.  Greyhounds are supposed to be lazy, couch potatoes, this one isn't! 

Friday already.  Time is just disappearing.
