Light in the sky
I've had a pretty steady day today. I only popped out this evening to pick up a single item from the supermarket, needed for tomorrow morning, and to pick up fish and chips from the South Asian chippy, as opposed to the Chinese chippy, the latter being closed. Mr A wasn't up to cooking and I really did not feel like it.
Quite a few work meetings, and mostly they did not paint a very positive picture. Hey ho, we struggle on.
Meanwhile, Mr A has been gripped by his cold, and did not get out of bed until late morning and has already gone back there. However, he did manage to show a plumber who came round the issues that we need doing, so we should be able to get them fixed. We are not in a hurry, but often the trickiest thing is to get a plumber to come and look at your problem. Now the plumber has actually been, I am sure we can get our rather small, but slightly annoying, problems fixed at Easter when we are up for a couple of weeks.
Hoping to be able to get out in the garden for a while tomorrow. It's due to be sunny and fairly warm. That would be great. Mind you, removing weeds will just encourage them to grow further, so part of me is tempted just to leave that until Easter as well....
Anyway, when I went out just before 6pm and came back just after, I was pleased to see there was still light in the southern sky up behind the town at that time.
