Crocuses

A very breezy and wet night is followed by a very breezy and warm day. Partner and I go for a walk. My body is surprised just how warm the wind is after the cold weather. It feels like walking past a hairdryer. Entering the park, this small chorus of crocuses has opened up after spending the last 2 weeks waiting for the weather to turn. Walking past the view point of Edinburgh Castle, we can see clearly across the water. Of course, but the time we get up higher to get abetter view across the water, there is a band of light rain moving along the Firth of Forth. By the time we get home, the coat zips are down.

After lunch, there are sunny spells interspersed with heavy showers. After I finish work, partner and I go for another walk. However, not long into the walk, a really heavy burst of rain, it hadn't looked that heavy on the rain radar, sent us homeward. So no photos.

A nice quiet evening. At least for this working week, Thursday is my Friday, and a 5 day weekend awaits.
