Misty Mount

A busy day.... Has the needle got stuck I hear you ask?! Probably. It feels busy. Paul the decorator turned up at 0800 so I had to get going at speed. The lounge decorating is finished and today Paul was tackling the kitchen (also now finished). So I have moved some stuff around. A number of little jobs and then off to B&M and The Range where I picked up some firelighters and pipe insulation and other bits and bobs (which I hadn't realised I needed till I saw them). Also to Firewood supplies for some firewood. I would have popped into Newlyn Art Gallery but I couldn't easily find anywhere to park so that will have to wait. En route home I crossed the level crossing to Longrock beach car park and spent a few minutes being quiet and enjoying the dogs and their humans and the sea and the view and the air. A misty late afternoon, this is St Michael's Mount. This evening I joined my lifelong friend Gill and her partner Paul at the pub for a fish and chip dinner (a Friday special). A lovely evening.
