A Meandering Life...

MMC2025 :: Day 22 :: Picton

Mono Month Challenge 2025

Our last full day in Picton and we ventured into town a number of times. My main Blip was taken at about midday when the ferry arrived and was reversing into the dock. To the right of the image is the Picton Yacht Club and these youngsters were doing some lessons. We also watched the train come in from Christchurch.

This morning I popped out by myself to visit the local MeNZshed, Picton has one of the oldest sheds in New Zealand having started in 2007. It was good to meet them and exchange ideas. They were welcoming and if you look close enough at my Postcard collage you may see something I left behind for them.

My second Postcard you'll find a mix of classic Fords I spotted in town over the course of the day. They may not be Morris Minors but I do appreciate good looking cars when I see them. NZ does appear to have a large number of classic car clubs.

We continue to have wonderful weather. Clear skies did make it a little chilly first thing but as I type this it is too hot to sit on the balcony in the sun! Tomorrow we head west, a little.
