Know the enemy

This blip is for Charlie ,and any other gardeners who have yet to meet this lovely flower.
This is Himalayan Balsam, that is marching (or maybe I should say exploding ) across the land, and is not in the least considerate about your garden boundaries.
At this stage its not too bad....quite colourful; if a little tall.
But then follows many seedheads,each packed with an invading army.
And its then that wee boys.....and I include myself here......cannot resist touching these seedheads because they explode quite spectacularly,sending their footsoldiers over your garden hedge in a fashion Rosebay Willowherb can only dream about.
And then it grows!!
If your neighbour plants it.....shoot him!
