Newcastle Cathedral

A day out in Newcastle. I struggled up the steps (over 100) on the spiral staircase of the Old Castle to photograph the views of the city from the top. Then sought rest in the cathedral. They have a cafe called Cafe 16 where you can get prison food. It is all prepared In the local prison in a bid to transform crooks into cooks. Very good it was too, probably the cheapest cup of tea in Newcastle upon Tyne.
