Bushey Park (and Ziggy)

I met my brother, Wol, for a run at half-seven, this morning. It's turning into a nice little routine, running together a couple of times a week.

On this occasion we did just over seven miles. Wol was Mr Weights And Measures, but he works in kilometres (we did twelve).

And in the afternoon, I took the train across to Hampton Court to meet my friend, Ange, whom I first met in 1993, when we both worked in IT for Barclays, near Knutsford.

A few years after that she became Milly's Godmother and we have remained friends ever since, even if I see more of her husband, Keith, to her mild irritation.

This afternoon, we took their dog, Ziggy, for a walk all around Bushey Park. It's been ages since we had a catch up, so it was was absolutely lovely,

I may have said before but, despite the sad circumstances, seeing my London-based friends has been a silver lining to the current situation.
