Summer Plumage

We went out for a walk in the Arboretum to look for our Blips earlier this morning. It's rather warm out there today compared to earlier in the week, though the sun wasn't out. It has made an appearance in the last few minutes though.

this gull seemed to know I was taking an interest in it and struck some poses. Very nice of it - they usually fly away or start doing weird things. It is just coming into its Summer plumage and was happy to show off the fine new feathers.

Talking of weird things, my camera is behaving quite strangely. The zoom does not always work as it should. And the effect I have in the extra was not intentional!
