Home again!

This is the nesting box that blue tits used last year and I thought it would be a good idea to give it a bit of a "spring clean". The inside was fine with some moss and lichen. It was a bit damp so I dried it out before repainting and varnishing it. No sooner had I put it up, than a sparrow landed on it. A blue tit arrived and they had a bit of an "aerial battle" - no photo. I guess the blue tit came out on top as here he is inspecting it further. It's about the end of March before they get ready for nesting so I hope they will be back.
