Blackberry Vodka

This is the haul from yesterday's walk with Alexander. It was a great afternoon strolling along listening to the cricket on the radio and plucking berries from the hedgerows.

The year before last I made sloe gin which was a great success but with all the mayhem last autumn I didn't get around to making a batch for this year. Hopefully however whilst not quite the same this years treat will be just as good. It doesn't take as long as sloe gin apparently so works as a good back up plan. Now what to do with the unused berries. Blackberry Brandy maybe ?
