VISITORS AND A NEW MEMBER OF THE GANG!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Today we had a visit from Zach and his Mum, Mei, some friends from Church and you may remember that Zach loves playing with us all.  He likes to throw us up in the air and is quite rough with us, but we like it!  In fact, we always like it when children come to visit the HCBs and play with us.

Today we are welcoming a new member of the Silly Saturday Gang and his name is Wilberry - it was a gift to Mrs. HCB for her birthday, which as you may remember, she only received yesterday, despite her birthday being on 26th December.  We weren’t quite sure what Wilberry was, but of course, Zach knew - he is a T-Rex, which is short for Tyrannosaurus Rex.  Of course, as soon as Zach came in, he knew that there was a new member and spotted Wilberry, so of course, he had to have a cuddle.  Unlike the proper T-Rexs, this one is purple and very soft and cuddly.

I wonder if you know anything else about these very large creatures?  We looked up about them, and found out that they were large theropods meaning that they walked on two legs, were about 12 metres long and weighed 7,000 kg or 15,432 lbs.  They had 60 saw-edged, bone crushing, pointed teeth each one about 8 inches long and they ate other animals - eeeek we sure hope that Wilberry doesn’t want to eat us!  We hope that he is a friendly T-Rex and that he will fit in with all of us here.  If not, then we might just have to send him back to Mrs. T!

You can see us all with Zach in the main photograph and you can see that he brought one of his gang too - Spotty the Cow - we had some discussion as to whether it was a cow or bull, but Zach insisted it was a Daddy Cow because it had horns!

After a while Zach said he was hungry, so he had some of the chocolate egg his Mummy had brought.  However, like many little boys, he said he was still hungry, so went into the kitchen with Mrs. HCB and found some Cheerios and ChocoPillows.  He said he didn’t like milk but his Daddy sometimes had “tanas” so Mrs.  HCB found him some sultanas, raisins and cranberries and he rather liked those.  Mr. HCB is going to get a shock when he goes to his box tomorrow, because there are a lot missing!  We think that dear Admirer would have giggled if she could have seen this little boy eating so much and he certainly kept us all amused. 

It just remains for us to remind you all to BE KIND - and when you have been kind, BE KIND SOME MORE because you never know what someone else is going through.
