COCONUT NOT-SHY

I went for a walk this afternoon in a wood where someone had hung a few bird feeders and was pleased to get this great tit, as they usually seem to dart down, grab a beakful and fly away immediately. I could hear a nuthatch nearby and the Merlin app on the phone was telling me there was a blackcap, neither of which made an appearance, unfortunately.

I had a nice impromptu video chat with some of my sisters this morning. It was good to have a quick catch-up.
