Diving Kingfisher

We were out again on the water very early, under misty, and then cloudy gray conditions.  The highlight was a very close encounter with a Belted Kingfisher.  I have never been this close to a Kingfisher.  They are always so elusive.  We were entertained by it for quite a long time, during which he landed on our boat three times, once so close that we could have reached out and touched him but couldn't get a shot with our long lenses.  This image and the two in extra were not processed in black and white.  This just reflects the weather and light conditions of the morning.
