Collieston

For the first time this week there were blues skies and there was a warmth in the air.  A brief respite as the wind and rain return tomorrow.

So Mrs CBL and I took advantage of the good weather and drove a few miles down the coast to the pretty village of Collieston.  We visit the nearby Forvie Nature Reserve quite often but hadn’t gone on down to the village just a mile away since Covid.

So we rectified that today and enjoyed the views and a new walk that we took.  It’s a great place to see waves breaking over the rocks and the harbour wall and there will have been lots on show this past week.

We’ll go back later in the year, on a sunny summer’s day, take a picnic, enjoy the views and take a walk again on the path we discovered today.
