Rhubarb

Annual Rhubarb Festival in Wakefield today. Walked the dog, had my nails done then drove into Wakefield to have a mooch with Charlotte. It was soooo busy.

Didn’t buy any rhubarb but did get some goodies, and had a rhubarb and apple crumble crepe!

Not sure of the significance of this installation but I liked it.

Drama in the village this evening. As I was walking back home with Barney I noticed a lot of telegraph wires down. Turned into our estate to find three police cars, and a flat bed truck with a crane on the back. Apparently this had been driven through the village pulling the telegraph wires down as it went, and not stopping. Seems the driver has been arrested.

Three positives:
1) new nails day
2) had a lovely couple of hours in town with Charlotte
3) got washing dry outside!
